The approach – Open the door to business success in Germany

Business success in Germany requires more than correct grammar. An effective business German training is about language that builds trust, strengthens positions, and opens doors — in the situations that really matter to you.

A little German is better than good English

Many professionals assume that English is sufficient in the German market. That is a persistent misconception.

About 50 to 60% of German decision-makers prefer to collaborate with German speakers. Not because their English is lacking — but because trust, nuance, and persuasive power come across stronger in their own language. Those who speak German have a direct advantage. And you don’t have to be perfect for that. A solid foundation opens doors that remain closed with English.

The Dutch have a hidden advantage: the relaxed style, directness, and flat hierarchy that are normal in the Netherlands are secretly admired in Germany. Combine that with business German, and you have a position that no marketing budget can give you.

What I do differently

Most business German courses start with the language and slowly work towards your practice. I do it the other way around.

I start with your world — your industry, your role, your specific business contexts — and build the training completely around that. You waste no time on language activities that are not relevant to your position. What you learn, you will use the next day.

This is possible because I am not a language teacher who has learned business context. I am an entrepreneur, a native German, and have worked on both sides of the border. I not only understand the language — I understand what is at stake in business.

Language as a strategic tool

In my business German training, you will not only learn to communicate correctly. You will learn to communicate with what Germans themselves call: Fingerspitzengefühl.

The focus is on:

  • acquisition and creating conversation opportunities
  • pitches, negotiations, and decision-making
  • presentations and proposals
  • the right tone and cultural etiquette in every situation

You develop persuasive power — and the skill to read and influence your conversation partner in a way that fits the German business culture.

Insight into business etiquette

Effective business dealings in Germany also require a good sense of hierarchy, communication style, and manners. That context is inextricably linked to the language.

In every training, I pay attention to the cultural nuances that are essential for building trust and credibility — so that you not only use the right words but also at the right time and in the right way.

For whom?

For professionals who want to seriously invest in their position in the German market. Entrepreneurs, executives, freelancers, and specialists who understand that learning business German is not a cost, but a strategic move.

You don't have to be a top talent. You learn purposefully and efficiently — and develop exactly the knowledge and skills you need to operate confidently within your own role and industry.

German is not a final destination. It is a strategic starting point.

The person behind the professional

Learning business German takes courage — especially if you are not yet sure of your level or doubt whether you are good enough to start. I know that feeling, and it is exactly the reason why I work the way I do.

In my training, you as a person are central, not your grammar. We start where you are, work in a safe and relaxed atmosphere, and build your confidence from there — step by step, at your own pace.

You don't have to be perfect to start. You just need to want to begin.
