Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you get only here?
A combination that you rarely find at other language institutions:
- Native speaker with an academic background. As a Germanist and native speaker, Noemi Paul combines language sensitivity, intuition, and academic knowledge. In many other courses, you work with non-native speakers as teachers.
- Immediately available. You do not have to wait. At other institutions, they often only start looking for a suitable teacher after you have registered.
- Business experience on both sides of the border. Years of entrepreneurial experience in both the Netherlands and Germany makes the difference — you not only learn the language but also how to present yourself in a business context in Germany.
- Modern online course environment. You work with an up-to-date multimedia learning environment that provides an overview and tracks progress. At many other institutions, the teaching material consists of loose documents or hybrid meetings without structure.
- Fully customized. No standard lesson plan. The program is completely tailored to your field, level, and goals.
- Premium positioning training. Language coaching and business positioning in one — provided by an academically qualified teacher. At other institutions, you often learn correct German, but not how to profile yourself in business and come across convincingly in the German market.
Who are your courses intended for?
What makes your approach different from a regular language course?
What if I don't speak a single word of German or have never had German in school?
You start with a preparatory course at level A1, where the foundation is laid. At this level, it is still too early for subject-specific terminology or business situations. We consciously do not offer isolated A1 courses — but those who enroll directly for a longer course starting from A2 can follow the A1/A2 combination with us. For the A1 part, you will work with a specialized colleague-teacher. We will arrange that for you.
How long does it take before I speak good German?
On average, after one to two courses — provided you also complete the homework well — you will advance one level. Within four to six months, you will achieve a very clearly measurable progress. With punch cards, this typically takes a bit longer due to the more flexible scheduling.
From level B2, you speak German very well. Such language proficiency is achievable within a year with weekly lessons and consistent homework if you start at A2 — even when considering longer holiday periods or breaks. This is a realistic picture. But even with a shorter course, you can achieve significant improvements.
What does a journey cost?
Will my payment be deducted immediately?
No. The payment at checkout is solely a reservation. We always first make personal contact with you before the payment is processed. No amount will ever be deducted without you having spoken to us.
What routes do you offer?
What happens after checkout?
After the purchase, you will gain access to a personal course platform where all the course materials are organized clearly — including audio, video links, and presentations. The content is released gradually through drip content, matching your progress in the program.
How long does my journey take?
The duration is mentioned on the relevant product page, where you can often choose between different options at the top. Most course programs last at least 10 weeks. With punch cards, you largely determine the duration yourself — it depends on the frequency of your participation and sometimes on the results of interim tests, which we use to check whether the material has been well understood. The shortest path is the First punch card with 6 sessions; the longest is the course with 16 weeks.
What is the trial lesson?
An introductory lesson of 50 minutes, fully tailored to your situation and level. Ideal if you want to experience how the coaching works before booking a program.
Can I also choose a free introduction?
Yes. Through the website, you can schedule a free 15-minute conversation. This way, we can discover together if there is a match.
Are the lessons online or in-person/on location?
How flexible is the planning?
Can I take a break or go on vacation in between?
Yes, that is certainly possible in consultation. With ride cards, you have a year to use them and complete flexibility. For courses, all lessons must be taken within the agreed period, with the possibility of extension at the end. Interruptions of three weeks or longer are not advisable for educational reasons — the continuity of the learning process is important for a good result.
Is there homework?
Yes, a minimum investment of 20 minutes per week is recommended — preferably more. The preference is for daily short exercises of 5 to 10 minutes instead of large blocks. Small, regular repetition has been shown to work better for language acquisition.
For which sectors do you have specific programs?
Among others for executives of internationals, architects, engineers and construction professionals, technical professions, health and wellness, hospitality, innovation, marketing and luxury, SMEs and sales, and executive/personal development. Other sectors are also possible — the program is always tailored to your field.

What payment options are available?
You can pay using all common methods available through our webshop, including iDEAL, credit card, and installment payment via Klarna. At checkout, you will see all current options. If you want to reserve now but your desired start date is still in the future, choose installment payment.
Are the prices inclusive of VAT?
Can I cancel the purchase if I change my mind?
Yes, that is possible. Dutch law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for businesses — this only applies to individuals. However, we also offer this to businesses. Within 14 days after the completed purchase, you can withdraw your order via our contact page. If any lessons have already taken place, these will be charged.
Is there a certificate?
Our programs are not accredited exam courses, but we can prepare you for external language proficiency certificates, such as the exams from the Goethe-Institut. These take place in the Netherlands on various dates throughout the year. Whether exam preparation is relevant for you will be discussed during the introductory meeting.
